TV addicts have been gripped by Liar, ITV’s drama starring Joanne Froggat and Ioan Gruffudd.

Will Liar return for a second series?
The Sun has exclusively revealed that TV bosses are already planning a second series of Liar, which has pulled in almost five million viewers each week.
There’s been speculation that if Liar returns, it could be set before the events of the first series.
A TV source said: “Explaining the characters would appeal to fans who’ll be intrigued to see what underlying experiences sparked their actions.
“Bosses feel it would be the best direction to go in.”
Joanne, 37, previously teased that there was a potential “offshoot” story if it proved successful.
What is Liar about?
Liar tells the story of a teacher who is swept up into a romance with a surgeon whose son studies at her school.
They go on a date and that single night “changes their lives forever”.
A statement on the story reads: “Neither fully realises the far-reaching consequences that their meeting will have on each other or their families.
“Truth and consequences go hand in hand in a gripping thriller that examines both sides of a relationship and both sides of the truth.”
The drama is also set to provide a “21st-century take on modern-day gender politics” as well as being a “compelling emotional thriller”.
Who stars in the show?
Joanne Froggatt stars as the teacher Laura, while Ioan Gruffudd plays the surgeon Andrew.
Liar also stars Zoe Tapper as Katy, Warren Brown as Tom, Richie Campbell as Liam and Shelley Conn as Vanessa.
