RACHEL Lugo is one of two new ladies who has joined the cast of Real Housewives of Cheshire for season six.
So who is the property landlady? Is she married and does she have children? We’ve got the lowdown…
Who is Rachel Lugo?
Rachel Lugo has lived in Cheshire all her life and is one of four sisters.
She currently lives in the exclusive area of Alderley Edge with her husband John.
They are property landlords and have five children Francesca, 19, William, 18, Sophia, 15, Oliver, 12 and Sienna, six.
She’s been friends with fellow housewife Dawn Ward for years as their daughters went to school together from the age of three.
Rachel says of joining the show: “I’m a bit silly and I laugh at myself a lot, I always stand up for myself and what I believe in.
“I’m not nervous about joining the show because I’ve always wanted to be a part of it.”
Who are the other Real Housewives of Cheshire?
Dawn Ward, wife of retired footballer Ashley, returns for the sixth series having been one of the original cast members.
Tanya Bardsley, who has also been in the show since the very first episode and is married to Stoke City footballer Phil Bardsley, also returns.
And ex-Manchester United star Wes Brown’s wife Leanne is also back for the new series despite being in the middle of a huge legal battle with co-star and former friend Dawn
Czech born Ester Dee is back for her second season on the show – she caused a bit of a stir when she was introduced in season five when it was revealed by The Sun on Sunday that she wasn’t married to the man who she appeared on the show with, property developer Rob Lloyd.
Dutch WAG Nermina Pieters-Mekic, the wife of Stoke City player Erik Pieters also joins the cast along with Rachel.
When is the Real Housewives of Cheshire on and what’s the show all about?
The sixth series of the reality show began on ITVBe on Monday, September 11 at 10pm and is shown every Monday at the same time.
It repeats on ITVBe+1 on Sky and Freesat at 11pm.
It is also available to watch on the channel’s on demand service.
The reality TV show follows the lives of a group of women who live in one of the UK’s most affluent areas.
It shows their every day lives and explores their relationships with friends, family and partners.
