JAMIE Laing is a reality TV star who found fame on Made In Chelsea – and is now branching out into acting.
The cheeky chap has seen his fair share of drama on the E4 programme, and also stars in Celebrity Hunted – here’s the lowdown as series 14 of MiC kicks off.
Who is Jamie Laing?
The 28-year-old was launched into the spotlight when he joined the case of MIC in series 2.
He also runs his own YouTube channel, Jamie Laing’s Happy Hour, where he shares videos of his life.
The vlogger has over 64,000 subscribers and also uploads prank and challenge videos.
Alongside his six years on the show, the affluent Chelsea lad has also embarked on a career into the confectionery world.
Reports revealed that the McVitie’s biscuit heir had opened up about his “premium gourmet sweet brand” on his LinkedIn profile.
What’s happened to Jamie on Made In Chelsea?
Throughout Jamie’s time on the show, his tumultuous love life has been eagerly followed by MIC viewers.
In series three, there was a very awkward love triangle between Spencer, Jamie and Louise.
Making up his mind on the women he fancied seemed to be a recurring theme for the Casanova.
He struggled to decide if he liked Phoebe or Tara in series five, before his love for Lucy blossomed later that year.
After that relationship, he dated Jess, Naz and Frankie.
Since rumours that Frankie cheated on him, the Made In Chelsea star has spoken out about how she’s been unfairly branded a “villain”.
Even though Jamie was recently spotted exchanging numbers with Pamela Anderson, he seemed to have resumed his on-off relationship with Frankie.
However, The Sun Online revealed how Jamie was now using dating app Bumble after Frankie kissed Dan Edgar while on holiday and that appears to have ended the relationship – for the time being at least.
What other TV shows has Jamie Laing been on?
Starring on MIC has opened many avenues for Jamie in the world of showbiz.
Many people will recognise him from shows including Celebrity First Dates, Murder in Successville and Drunk History.
Jamie’s wit and likeable personality has landed him spots as a panellist on comedy programmes 8 Out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie to You.
Not all of his telly appearances have been easy viewing though, as viewers were left feeling queasy during his segment on I’m a Celebrity Extra Camp.
Jamie and Vicky Pattison turned stomachs when they gagged on some eyeballs as they attempted to swallow them.
Fans were also disgusted at the state of his dirty flat when the rich business owner appeared on Through The Keyhole.
Has Jamie Laing been in any acting roles?
Jamie Laing branched into ‘serious’ acting in 2017 with an appearance on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
The platinum-haired millionaire has a cameo as an NHS doctor in an episode of the Chester-set soap, during dark scenes involving Marnie, James and a hospitalised Mac Nightingale – with a first look beaing teased in May 2017.
Non-actor Jamie, 28, can be seen chatting to a nurse in the background, wearing blue scrubs and a stethoscope, during a tense conversation between Marnie and James.
Jamie shared his excitement about his appearance, tweeting “My dreams came true!!” — and adding he felt “all the emotions in one” about it.
