THE APPRENTICE is back for another year and it’s brought with it another batch of delightfully obnoxious candidates.

Among the latest intake of 18 ambitious businessmen and women is James White. Here’s all we know about Lord Sugar’s new candidate…

Who is James White and what’s his background?

James White is 26 years old and comes from Birmingham – he also has some family abroad in Canada.

The bright young Brummie owns his own IT recruitment business, which he only started up in the last year.

James said: “This last year has taught me many life lessons which I’m extremely grateful to have learnt and experienced.

“It’s been a complete rollercoaster of a journey and believe me it’s just about to get a hell of a lot bumpier.

“I’ve got 1 business off the ground which now has 6 employees, another one on the way and some big news to announce next week.

“Piece of advice from me is dream big and never let anyone put you down, 12 months ago I was in a completely different place and now I’ve got so many things to smile about.”

James considers his drive and ambition as his best qualities and even goes as far as to say that no one has ambition like his.

The confident fella also claimed he has “good energy”, and his charming nature works well in business.

Is James White in a relationship with fellow contestant Jade English?

Well it seems James’ charms don’t just work for him in the boardroom as it was reported the dashing contestant had had a tryst with fellow Apprentice star Jade English.

The Sun’s Dan Wootton revealed: “Two of this year’s wannabe entrepreneurs got down to some saucy antics away from the boardroom.

“And the pair even shared an intimate clinch in the show’s plush London mansion which houses the contestants.

“This was despite any sexual interaction being banned by producers.”

A TV insider said: “Tension had been building between James and Jade during filming.

“There was clearly an attraction from the beginning. They’re both young and attractive people and they really got along during the process.

“They couldn’t resist getting to know each other that bit better during their time in the house.

“Afterwards they kept things going for a while, but relations have cooled off between them since filming ended.”

What does James White like to do in his spare time?

James was previously given the nickname “Del Boy” no doubt for persistence and general “wheeling and dealing”.

The Birmingham lad enjoys a holiday, and isn’t shy about posting a topless snap on social media.

He also reportedly enjoys white collar boxing in his spare time, but for the next few weeks he’ll just be sparring with the other Apprentice hopefuls.

What is The Apprentice and when is on BBC One?

The Apprentice is a hit BBC reality show, now about to enter its thirteenth series, featuring hour-long episodes.

It starts tomorrow (Monday, October 4) and airs at the same time as The Detectives: Murder On The Streets on BBC Two, Doc Martin on ITV and Grand Designs on Channel 4.

Each series of the programme aims to find a new apprentice for billionaire business mogul and Amstrad founder Lord Alan Sugar, who’s worth £1.4bn.

It aims to recreate the toughest of business environments and tasks for its set of contestants, but it is often very funny due to the incompetence and arrogance of the competitors.

The show began in 2005 and has a US equivalent that kicked off in 2004, with Donald Trump in Lord Alan’s equivalent role.

There are celebrity and junior versions of the UK show, too.

After returning on October 4, The Apprentice is on every Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.

Lord Sugar fires the director of the trailer for the new season of The Apprentice – before the end of the teaser itself!
