HE’S known for being a former Gladiator and for his string of relationships, but now David McIntosh will be going back on screens for a new ITV2 show.
The hunky ex Marine will be taking part in Bromans, but what else do we know about the star?
Who is David McIntosh?
David is a British, former military and security operative, who has since become a well-known model and TV personality.
He is most known for his work on Sky 1’s Gladiators, which he was selected for after being a former Royal Marines commando.
He was born in 1985 in Wigan to an English mother and Jamaican father and joined the Royal Marines Commando after he left school.
During his time, he ended up serving in Northern Ireland, Somalia, the Persian Gulf, and Afghanistan.
He has hit headlines numerous times for his varied dating life, including being engaged to Kelly Brook in 2014.
In 2011, David became a dad to son Logan Phoenix McIntosh with former partner Rachel Christie.
When did David McIntosh join Gladiators?
After leaving the Marines, David took on the role of Gladiator Tornado in the Sky show.
He joined the show in 2008 and was signed onto the subsequent series of the programme in 2009.
After the show was axed, he worked as a mercenary aiding US forces in Iraq.
What else has David McIntosh done?
The ripped military man went on to star in Jennifer Hudson music video Walk It Out and the Nicki Minaj music video Anaconda.
He also entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in August 2014, and was reportedly paid £200,00 to go in.
He was the first star to be evicted from the house.
What is David McIntosh doing on Bromans?
The lads will be put through their paces by fearsome “Doctor” David, and will be trained to compete in scorching hot temperatures.
Those who don’t cut it will be banished from “the city”.
Their gorgeous girlfriends will help them along the way and will also get involved in the violent scraps in a bid to win the £10,000 prize at the Emperor’s Games in the finale.
