THE APPRENTICE is back for another year and it’s brought with it another batch of delightfully obnoxious candidates.
Among the latest intake of 18 ambitious businessmen and women is Anisa Topan. Here’s all we know about Lord Sugar’s new candidate…
Who is Anisa Topan and what’s her background?
Anisa Topan is a 36-year-old PR Agency Owner from Surrey.
Currently, Anisa owns her own fashion PR consultancy and by her own admission, is all action – and says she gets irritated if people are slow to grasp concepts. She admits she can find it hard to listen and sometimes misses things when she is excited about an idea, but is good at “winning” in business.
She says: “I’ve got everything Lord Sugar needs in a business partner. I’m passionate, dynamic and persistent – he’ll love that.”
What is The Apprentice and when is on BBC One?
The Apprentice is a hit BBC reality show, now about to enter its thirteenth series, featuring hour-long episodes.
Each series of the programme aims to find a new apprentice for billionaire business mogul and Amstrad founder Lord Alan Sugar, who’s worth £1.4bn.
The show began in 2005 and has a US equivalent that kicked off in 2004, with Donald Trump in Lord Alan’s equivalent role.
There are celebrity and junior versions of the UK show, too.
After returning on October 4, The Apprentice is on every Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
