A HOMELESS man has been caged for life after he “destroyed a family” – slaughtering a mum and son after he was taken into their home.
Deranged Aaron Barley snarled “Just die you b*****d” as he knifed Peter Wilkinson, moments after he murdered his wife Tracey Wilkinson and 13-year-old son Pierce. We reveal all…
Who is Aaron Barley and what’s his background?
Barley was born from an incestuous relationship between an uncle and niece.
The neglectful family abandoned him, forcing him to become an orphan when he was seven-years-old, and spent many years in a series of children’s homes.
Barley’s youthful years were marred with violence. Aged 12, wrote up a hit-list of people he wanted to kill.
He had also posted his dream of “chopping people up” on Facebook.
Six years later, aged 18, he was jailed for three years after he attacked an ex-girlfriend with a length of wood.
Barley became a teenage parent, but his peers at Hunters Hill Technology College in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire new him as a “popular” and “cocky” lad, the Daily Mail reports.
Who are the parents of Aaron Barley?
Barley’s mum, Jayne, was a factory worker. She married Brian, who was 19 years her senior according to reports.
But Brian died of cancer in 1998, when twisted Barley was just four-years-old.
After Barley spent time on the streets, kindhearted Tracey welcomed Barley into her £650,000 luxury Stourbridge home after she saw him begging outside a Tesco.
Their relationship blossomed as she helped get him a job and he described her as the “mother he’d never had”.
Tracey’s husband Peter, his foster dad, owned an engineering firm in South Wales.
Barley was reportedly fired from working at Peter’s firm after he relapsed into an episode of drug abuse.
Why did he murder Tracey and Pierce Wilkinson?
Birmingham Crown Court heard Barley showed “no remorse”. Instead, Mrs Justice Carr said he projected “regret that Mr Wilkinson survived his injuries”.
In January this year, Barley obtained full-time work and started to live in a flat in Brierley Hill, near Stourbridge.
He would see the family once or twice a week for dinner and had spent Christmas Day.
But he may have been pushed over the edge when a mobile phone contract, which was being paid for him, was cancelled by the family.
Chilling footage captured Barley lurking in the Wilkinson family’s garden moments before he launched his deadly attack on March 30.
He can be seen crawling across the lawn dressed as a ninja as he waited for Peter to take the family dog for a walk.
Schoolboy Pierce was stabbed with such force one of the blows “almost divided his spinal chord” and Tracey was struck with the blade up to 20 times.
Incredible video shows the drug addict racing away from the murder scene in a frantic bid to escape.
Barley is seen breaking into the Land Rover on CCTV, while dash cam footage captures him mounting onto pavements and weaving in and out of traffic.
