Who are The Cutkelvins?

The Cutkelvins are a three-part group made up of Jay, Sheereen and Kay Cutkelvin from Lanark, Scotland.

They are two brothers and a sister from a big family of six siblings in total.

At 20, Shereen is the youngest member of the group, but you might know her already from the girl group Neon Jungle.

In 2014, they enjoyed chart success with their top-10 album Welcome to the Jungle, and had a UK No.4 hit with their catchy single “Braveheart”.

Shereen was in the pop quartet from 2013- 2015 alongside Amira McCarthy, Jessica Plummer, and Asami Zdrenka, earning a Teen Choice Award nomination in the year of their split.

They also had a US deal with RCA records – the home of pop superstar Taylor Swift, Jessie J, John Newman and The Vamps.

And Shereen enjoyed a real taste of fame across the pond as they landed a major gig performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the US back in 2013, where they performed alongside Taylor.

Now, she has formed a group with her brothers, and the trio opted to perform a version of Beyonce’s Runnin’ (Lose It All) in a bid to impress the judges in their audition.

When is The X Factor 2017 on ITV and who are the judges?

After launching on September 2, X Factor 2017 will continue every Saturday and Sunday on ITV.

The show begins, as always, with auditions as the nationwide hunt to find this year’s winning act begins.

Despite heavy speculation of a judging shake up, the panel will be remaining exactly the same as last year.

This means Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne will hold the hopefuls’ fates in their hands.

Alisha Dixon is also appearing in the auditions, having stepped in as a guest judge when Sharon and Nicole were unable to attend.

It’s the first time in seven years that X Factor bosses have kept the same judging panel as the year before.

A source said: “The chemistry was perfect last year, so it’s only natural to want to bring the same line-up together again.”

Dermot O’Leary will be returning to hosting duties after making his big comeback to the show last year.
