WHAT can’t you miss on TV tonight? Our guide to the must-see shows…
NEW! Our Girl, 9pm, BBC One
Michelle Keegan is back as intrepid Army medic Lance Corporal Georgie Lane (right).
We first see her and her fellow soldiers during a mission in Syria, where she clashes with a new recruit, Private Maisie Richards, over her attitude and reckless behaviour.
Fast-forward to Nepal, where 2 Section are helping those affected by an earthquake – and guess who Georgie’s been tasked with mentoring?
The language barrier, aftershocks and horrific injuries are just some of the challenges the team face, but at least Nepalese engineer Milan (Rudi Dharmalingam, left) is on hand to help.
It’s a promising start to the four-part third series, and reminds us that the Army does more than fight in wars.
And expect a dramatic cliffhanger as Georgie looks set to end up a victim of the quake…
The Great British Bake Off, 8pm, Channel 4
Bake Off goes all European tonight with Italian week.
As ever, Paul and Prue (above) have three tough challenges to test the bakers – including a Sicilian signature and a tricky technical task to master – but with the hottest temperatures ever recorded in the tent, it proves rather difficult for the remaining six contestants to keep their cool.
Who will make it to the final five?
NEW! Celebrity Hunted, 9.15pm, Channel 4
Gogglebox’s Steph and Dom, Jay and Siva from The Wanted and Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews (l-r), plus the solo Anneka Rice, try to go ‘off grid’ for 14 days to raise money for charity.
The initial focus is on Jamie and Spencer, who give us a helicopter escape, a speedboat chase and some laughs.
It’s surprisingly tense, well-made TV.
Robson Green’s Coastal Lives, 8pm, ITV
It’s nice to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, and the volunteer lighthouse keeper who spends four days a month at Spurn Point in Yorkshire has the right idea – it’s remote, to say the least.
Robson (above) also meets a couple who live on a seal sanctuary during this charming exploration of the UK’s spectacular east coast.
