WHAT can’t you miss on TV tonight? Our guide to the must-see shows…

The X Factor: Boot Camp, 8.15pm, ITV

The X Factor: The singing juggernaut may not be the ferocious ratings beast it once was, but the promising talent pool has made this series one of the most enjoyable in years

For some, the dream will come to an end tonight as Boot Camp draws to a close at Wembley Arena. After the judges have whittled the wannabes down, the successful singers can only breathe a momentary sigh of relief as we shoot straight into the dreaded Six Chair Challenge tomorrow.

But before we get to that, there’s the matter of which judge will mentor which category. Will Simon throw a strop if he doesn’t get his way? Will Louis be saddled with the weakest bunch while Nicole gets the best? And will Sharon even have a clue who’s on her team?

The singing juggernaut may not be the ferocious ratings beast it once was, but the promising talent pool has made this series one of the most enjoyable in years. And it’ll only get better…

LIVE! Strictly Come Dancing, 6.35pm, BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing: Bruno Tonioli is right at home as the Strictly Movie Special kicks off with a spectacular performance paying tribute to the Oscar-winning film

Strictly Come Dancing: Bruno Tonioli is right at home as the Strictly Movie Special kicks off with a spectacular performance paying tribute to the Oscar-winning film

We’ve always suspected Bruno Tonioli (above) has flown straight in from La La Land, so he’ll be right at home as the Strictly Movie Special kicks off with a spectacular performance paying tribute to the Oscar-winning film of the same name.

In a world of glitter and sparkle, this is always the glitziest heat, so we can’t wait until the judges yell: “Action!”

The Jonathan Ross Show, 9.45pm, ITV

The Jonathan Ross Show: Kit Harrington, Mary J Blige and Liv Tyler join Wossy on the sofa this week

The Jonathan Ross Show: Kit Harrington, Mary J Blige and Liv Tyler join Wossy on the sofa this week

Wossy loves to see his guests squirm, so you can bet your bottom dollar that when the cheeky host welcomes Game Of Thrones hunk Kit Harington (above) to his sofa, he’ll bring up that bum-baring scene from the show’s recent finale.

We should even get a clip, and we’re sure fellow guests Mary J Blige and Liv Tyler would love to see it again…

Cannonball, 6.15pm, ITV

Cannonball: It’s ridiculously silly, but there’s something harmlessly charming about Cannonball

Cannonball: It’s ridiculously silly, but there’s something harmlessly charming about Cannonball

It’s ridiculously silly, but there’s something harmlessly charming about Cannonball that keeps us tuning in.

It could be the amiable nature of all five presenters, including Freddie Flintoff (above) and Maya Jama, who are enjoying themselves almost as much as the contestants flinging themselves around in the name of entertainment.

Fabulous fun.

Strictly Ruth Langsford accidentally calls Anton du Beke by her husband’s name ‘Eamonn’
