What is Superfoods: The Real Story about?

The show follows its host Kate Quilton as she travels round the globe to investigate the true health properties of various so-called superfoods.

In previous series, Kate has sliced through the myths surrounding avocados, matcha, red wine, spinach, dark chocolate, broccoli, kefir and pomegranates, among other foods and drinks.

This series she will find out the truth about turmeric, eggs, ground pepper, sauerkraut, white wine, jelly, and much more.

Ultimately Kate will help viewers decide if it’s worth shelling out on these often expensive foods.
