VICTORIA Beckham is fuelling her brood with super-healthy protein-packed nuts and home-made seed mixes when the after-school hunger pangs strike.
Despite being a busy mum-of-four with a hectic schedule, the fashion designer doesn’t reach for chocolate bars or crisps when Harper, Romeo and Cruz complain they’re hungry.
Taking to her Instagram Stories account, Posh spice proved she’s a whizz in the kitchen as she showed off her latest superfood creation – a tray crammed with pumpkin seeds and pine nuts and covered in Liquid Aminos.
She captured an image of the gluten-free treat prior to being backed and uploaded it with the words: “Seeds doused in organic Aminos! Grilled until crispy!
“After school snack. Good for mummy too!”
Meanwhile her eldest son with ex footballer David, aspiring photographer Brooklyn, would have missed out on the afternoon energy boost after moving to America for his studies.
The former pop star’s kitchen delights may well have given her fans a glimpse at how she maintains her super-toned shape.
Stunning brunette Victoria often proves the perfect model for her own fashion lines, with the tailored fit of her sexy yet sophisticated garments flattering her frame at recent events including London Fashion Week.
Meanwhile we revealed the 43-year-old’s strict personal diet saw her request a tailor-made, low-calorie menu at her favourite holiday resort in the Maldives.
Victoria asked that staff at Japanese restaurant Feeling Koi prepare for her low-calorie diet of seafood, edamame and radishes.
And sources said she was adamant that each meal she consumed while at the resort must fall within her stated daily allowance and nutrition margins.
A source told The Sun: “The staff at Koi were contacted in advance to make sure they had all the ingredients for what she would want to eat each day during her stay with us.
“Her menu was mostly seafood – Maldivian yellow fun tuna, Australian king fish, tea smoked salmon and a lot of sashimi.
“To go with her meals, she wanted a very simple salad which is mainly white radishes and lettuce with lemon juice, and toasted edamame beans.
“She also asked for fruit, and her ‘treat’ item was Atlantic black cod, which is very rich and so a little more calorific than the other foods she asked for.”
Meanwhile, this summer, the star took legal advice after a takeaway brand bizarrely branded her an “anorexic fashion icon.”
The bodyshaming fish and chip shop owner compared a cartoon of the former Spice Girl to an extra-thin pizza base.
A slogan beneath the image, plastered on a van by the owners of Sidhu Fish and Chips in North Tyneside, read: “Our new Victoria Beckham thin crust — only 2mm thin.”
But a spokeswoman for Victoria responded: “It is highly inappropriate to trivialise such a disorder, and defamatory to be so thoughtless with a person’s reputation in this way.
“Sadly this is now a legal matter.”
It is understood the former Spice Girl, 43, does not want to formally sue the small business, but hopes they will agree to remove the imagery from the van.
