A WOMAN accusing Usher of giving her herpes has demanded the R&B star “stops hiding his fortune” as she bids for £15 million compensation.
Laura Helm also hit back at claims by the musician in court documents that she should have known the risk of catching an STD from him before sex.
Usher fan Quantasia Sharpton, is suing the singer after ‘he had sex with her on her birthday
The New Orleans jazz musician, one of several people suing the artist, says she slept with the pop icon, real name Usher Raymond, on two separate occasions.
She claimed he would “run out of the room to ejaculate”.
After the second encounter, which involved sex without a condom, she claims to have found a pea-sized bump on her vagina and a similar lump on her cheek, reported TMZ.
Helm, from Georgia, claims she’s suffered “extreme and debilitating mental, emotional and physical distress and anguish, humiliation and embarrassment.”
She’s demanding £15million after she claims she was diagnosed with Herpes Simplex 2.
Now TMZ claimed that Helm wanted courts in Georgia to block Usher from hiding his assets – thought to be around £138 million.
But the judge said she had no rights over Usher’s finances because he doesn’t owe her anything yet, according to TMZ.
The website said that court filings also showed Usher claimed all his sexual partners assumed the risk of harm before getting into bed with him.
But Helm hit back by saying that she would have been wary of a risk if Usher had brought some kind of danger to her attention which he did not, TMZ reported.
In July, another lawsuit claims Usher paid a woman £800,000 after he infected her with herpes while knowing that he had the incurable disease.
It is reported he was diagnosed with the condition in either 2009 or 2010, when finalising his divorce from Tameka Foster who accused him of cheating.
In August, it was revealed that the Grammy-winning artist is being sued by two women and one man who claim he infected them with herpes.
Accuser Quantasia Sharpton, 21, alleges she romped with the singer on her 19th birthday.
In California, where Usher lives, it is illegal to “knowingly or recklessly transmit a sexually transmitted disease (STD)”.
Usher is now married to his current wife, and former executive chef on The Cosby Show, Grace Miguel who he wed in 2015.
The New York Daily News reported that court documents it obtained stated Usher plans to deny “each and every allegation” and insist it was not his intent to harm through sexual contact.
“Any alleged conduct by defendant, which is expressly denied, was unintentional,” said Usher’s court filings.
“Any harm that any plaintiff alleges to have suffered was caused in whole or in part by the plaintiff’s own negligence.”
