THE Towie cast are currently at war over screen time and storylines with some getting “aggy” at those in romances or on trips away once again monopolising the show.

In the previous series cast moaned that Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks’ tumultuous relationship was taking up airtime, but now frustrations have moved over to Lauren Pope and Jon Clark.

A source exclusively told The Sun Online: “I think some of the cast were getting a bit aggy about who was getting the most airtime on the show – people were saying it was the ‘Megan and Pete show’, then the ‘Lauren and Jon show’.”

Lauren and Jon’s stop-start romance has been at the forefront of the current series as Lauren deals with trust issues and the fact Jon was texting his ex Chloe Crowhurst.

However during Sunday’s episode the pair were seen kissing and making up while celebrating his birthday.

Jon asked if he had blown his chance and Lauren admitted he was still in the running to win her heart.

Meanwhile a chunk of the cast have been in high spirits this week as they escaped to Dublin for a city break.

Cast including Gemma Collins, James ‘Arg’ Argent, Chloe Sims, Amber Dowding and Georgia Kousoulou have all been pictured living it up on the Emerald Isle; with stars such as Pete Wicks, Megan Mckenna Amber Dowding being left in Brentwood.

And those staying at home have become riled over the fact they’re missing put on all the action.

Our source continued: “Half the cast have been taken to Dublin, which means they’ll be involved in some really fun storylines.

“But now the cast members who are left back in Essex are annoyed at missing out on the trip to Dublin because everyone who’s there is saying it’s a right laugh.”
