It’s been a while since the first ever Ikea store opened in 1958, in the small village of Älmhult, in Sweden.

Naturally, the brand took off in Scandinavia, and since the first UK store opened in Warrington 1987, the furniture giant has become a favourite among Brits too.

Best known for its unusual product names and love of flat-packing, the Swedish furniture store has now been open in the UK for 30 years.

Many of us can probably count a fair few Ikea products in our homes, and there are some staples which have really stood out from the crowd since that first British store opened its doors.

The Independent reports that these are the ten best-selling Ikea products of all time, from the STOCKHOLM bowl to the PAX wardrobe.

And of course, BILLY the bookcase is among them, but what other staples have been selling like hotcakes over the years?
