Take Me Out will return with the BOYS behind the lights as Paddy McGuinness gives his favourite contestants a second chance at love

TAKE Me Out will be returning to TV next year with a twist – as the boys get behind the lights for the first time.

The ITV dating show, hosted by Paddy McGuinness, usually features thirty women but the format is set to be flipped to celebrate the 10th series of the show.

Paddy is inviting back 30 of his favourite male contestants from over the years to give them another shot at love – and the chance to act on ‘no likey, no lighty’, as three lucky women come down the Love Lift to take their pick.

The excitement doesn’t stop with Paddy declaring ‘bring on the boys’ though, he’s also hosting a special over 50s line-up – giving the older generation a shot of love on the show for the first time.

The two-part special will also see Paddy catch up with some of the couples who have found love on the show over the years.

The Saturday night favourite has seen seven weddings, two babies and numerous other love matches – that viewers will hopefully get the chance to catch up on.

Speaking about the two specials, Paddy said: “I’m so excited to be celebrating ten series of Take Me Out.

“I always look forward to seeing romance blossom amongst a new line-up of ladies and gents, including the over-50s!
