STRICTLY Come Dancing beauty Gemma Atkinson stayed VERY coy on rumours of romance with show professional Gorka Marquez after the pair were spotted enjoying a passionate hug last night.
The Sun has previously revealed the pair’s romance and after their loved-up cuddle a source commented: “They appeared very close.”
Yesterday, the former Emmerdale star – who is paired with hunky dancer Aljaz Skorjanec – refused to deny sparks had flown with Spanish-born Gorka and told The Star: “I really don’t want to talk about my love life to be honest.
“I don’t feel I need to respond to anyone about what I’m doing.”
She added: “I’ve had to talk about who I’m dating for the past 15 years. You’ve got to take everything with a pinch of salt.”
The BBC show is known for its off-screen romances between celebrity contestants and their partners.
Yesterday, we reported on their clinch outside a hotel as an onlooker commented to The Sun: “Their long, lingering hug put big smiles on both of their faces.”
The lovers embraced in North London after we told how Gemma’s fling with the pro dancer was the talk of the show’s make-up room.
Popstar Alexandra Burke is said to be “furious” at their developing relationship and fears it will “impact her chances of winning.”
Yesterday, both Gemma and Gorka impressed in Strictly’s movie-themed show.
Gemma and Aljaz got into the Disney spirit and wowed judges with a Charleston to The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book.
Meanwhile, Gorka and Alexandra got classy for their American Smooth to Wouldn’t It Be Loverly from iconic Hollywood flick My Fair Lady.
Meanwhile the actress, 32, has remained hush hush about it all.
Rather than talk about Gorka she has confessed how she fears turning into a porker, by overeating and piling on weight because her gruelling dance training leaves her so hungry.
Gemma, who has previously dated footie’s Cristiano Ronaldo, said: “I must be the only contestant who hasn’t lost weight on the show as all we do all day is eat.
“We are so hungry with all the exercise I’m eating a lot more than usual.”
She said of the constant practice: “We are all getting on with it, having a laugh and enjoying ourselves.
“We all hang out after training together.
“The main focus for each of us is the dancing.”
