CELEBS including James Corden, Reese Witherspoon and Lena Headey have been sharing awkward photos of themselves from puberty to raise money for Puerto Rico relief charities.
And the roster of awkward snaps have been delighting fans, who can barely recognise some of the A-listers from their old pics – taken before stardom beckoned.
Other stars who have posted snaps include Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sarah Silverman and Steve Martin – who couldn’t resist sending up the online trend by posting a snap of himself with a full beard.
Using the hashtags #PuberMe and #PuertoRicoRelief, the famous faces have been celebrating their less photogenic moments – and it turns out Late Late Show host James, 39, has always been breaking hearts.
The comedian – who is due to become a dad again soon – captioned his old black and white head shot: “Hello ladies…. I’m James from High Wycombe, England.”
Meanwhile Cersei Lannister’s 44-year-old alter-ego Lena, who grew up Yorkshire, captioned one of her two horse riding pictures: “Trotting stylishly into the 80’s … WTF”.

Meanwhile Home Again star Reese, 41, shared an adorable smiley snap of herself at the age of 14, showing her wearing large specs.
She captioned it: Here you go.. giant glasses, awkward hands, feeling 14! All for a good cause. God Bless Puerto Rico.”
Other Hollywood comedians were keen to get in on the act too with Knocked Up’s Seth Rogen, 35, uploading a pic of himself “drunk off peach coolers” at junior prom.
Sarah Silverman, 46, chose to share a snap of herself as a kid in a baseball outfit, while Steve Martin, 72, bucked the trend and just posted a snap of himself as a young adult male with a lot of facial hair.

Other classic snaps came from 36-year-old actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who labelled his own pic “Awkwardddddddddddddd”, and Monty Python’s Eric Idle, 74, who was wearing incredibly high school shorts back in the 1950s.
But it’s fair to say actress Emmy Rossum, 31, and physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, 58, were just as photogenic as teens as they are now in adulthood.

The online pic trend was initiated by American TV host Stephen Colbert, who is retweeting all the celeb photo fails as they come in – as well as those from ordinary fans.
Stephen’s AmericCone Dream Fund has offered to donate $1,000 (£753) for every awkward picture tweeted or Instagrammed with the hashtags #PuberMe and #PuertoRicoRelief.

Funds raised are then going to be given to One America Appeal, which offers relief for those whose lives have been turned upside down by the natural disaster.
A different type of Puerto Rico effort came from Beyonce recently, as she contributed to a charity remix of bilingual track Mi Gente.
