Eye-catching snake eyeliner is an intricate look that has been sweeping Instagram in recent weeks.
Replacing boring black wings for the slithering reptiles certainly makes a statement.
You’ll need a VERY steady hand to pull off the tricky liner.
Some have achieved the effect by winding a different colour product around regular eyeliner.

Snakes on a plaaaane, I mean on my eyeliner. Ok this was pretty hard to do. I used mostly my @sigmabeauty E06 brush and it’s really good for detailed work, but I would like to have more detail brushes. 🐍Brows: @anastasiabeverlyhills Dipbrow and Brow Wiz in Ebony. 🐍Eyes: @makeupgeekcosmetics Corrupt, Mocha, Frappé, Vanilla Bean and White Lies. @maybelline Blackest Black gel eyeliner. @lorealmakeup Voluminous mascara in Carbon Black. @thrivecausemetics eyeliner in Lauren for waterline. 🐍 For the snake I used: @mehronmakeup in Dark Green and Black. @makeupforeverofficial in Yellow and White and @makeupgeekcosmetics Mocha and the dark green from the @morphebrushes 35B palette 🐍 Lashes: @sweetheartlashes Heartbreaker 🐍Brushes: @sigmabeauty and @maccosmetics

Other steady-handed makeup fans have managed to pull off the difficult task of making the entire line resemble a snake.
While some opt to do this in bright green, others have decided on a black and white pattern.
To give the look a go at home, you will need two different colour eyeliners and a LOT of patience.
We recommend having a few cotton buds on hand to tidy up any mistakes.

Even though the design isn’t the most wearable for everyday use, beauty lovers have been reacting very positively to it.
One Instagrammer said: “Omg this is wonderful!!”
Another added: “10 points for Slytherin!”
Despite this, not everyone is convinced they’ll be able to replicate the complicated look.
A make-up fan said: “I can’t even do a winged one let alone this!”
I was challenged to do the @glowawaymeg liner so here it is 😈 I used all of the following @suvabeauty products: 🔹Brow: Mural Hydra Cream Base, Grease & Fantasy Eyeland Hydra Liners 🔹Crease up: Hookah, Funny Face, Lock Bridge, Electric Slide (did add ABH Crushed Pearl to highlight brow bone) 🔹Lid: Tropic & Emerald City 🔹Liner: Grease & Scrunchie Hydra Liners 🔹Lower lasheline: Funny Face, Queen’s Road & Bula 🔹Lashes: @houseoflashes Tinker Bell “Just Wing It” #beccaboo318 #shadeshifter

This isn’t the first bonkers beauty trend to storm the internet.
Bat eyeliner is another look that’s tipped to be popular this Halloween.
Earlier this month, make-up fanatics experimented with backwards winged eyeliner.
Meanwhile, we previously told how Instagram users were obsessing over a floral eyeliner craze where people stuck flowers on their eyelids.
