See distinctive and lavish post-Soviet structure captured over years

In 1991, following the collapse of the united states, the 15 constituent republics that had made up the union have been confronted with the duty of forging new identities, and as cultures developed and diverged, new structure started to spring up throughout Japanese Europe and Russia. Noticing the stark distinction between the previous and the brand new, visible artist and photographer Frank Herfort undertook the formidable activity of documenting as many post-Soviet buildings as attainable.

First impressed to photograph high-rise buildings after being impressed by new building that he noticed in Moscow, Frank started working over the course of a number of years beginning within the early 2000s.
