The Oscars 2018 was last night, and one of the hottest tickets of the evening was not to the awards ceremony itself but to the Vanity Fair after party.
A strict guest list ensures an only A List crowd, all dressed in their best and ready to pose for waiting cameras.
But who won the style war on the night? Isla Fisher, 42, channelled old Hollywood glamour in a sexy red column Alex Perry dress with very revealing neckline.
The Wedding Crashers star wore her hair in 40s style tonged waves, and added a pair of diamond and jade drop-earrings from Irene Neuwirth.
Following closely behind her in the style stakes was Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 37, wife of Channing Tatum, who wore a very revealed dress.
Jenna’s dress was fitted as tightly to her body as possible, and featured a slit right up the thigh, as well as a low neckline. She paired the wine coloured gown with matching lipstick and a slick, razor sharp bob.
More covered up but looking no less sensational was Sofia Vergara, 45, who attended with her husband Joe Manganiello, 41.
The Modern Family star wore a black Ralph & Russo gown with silver embellishment and a sheer cape.
Not everyone managed to get it right for the bash, with a host of ugly outfits making their way on to the Vanity Fair worst dressed list.
Going down the route of flashing the flesh, TV presenter Catt Sadler, 43, and actress Regina Hall, 47, both wore gowns with plenty of cleavage on display.
While Hall’s dress was nearly completely sheer, Sadler’s deep v neck was paired with a very high thigh split.
Another common fashion disaster was the use of metallics. Many women looked more disco ball than disco fever in their shimmering dresses.
And it wasn’t just at the Vanity Fair party, with badly dressed celebrities at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation bash too.
Miley Cyrus led the style disasters in a hot pink and silver embellished gown which had an 80s feel.
She paired the extravagant dress with a classic Hollywood waved hairstyle and diamond star earrings.
