Ten Saints players sat for the Star Spangled Banner before the win over the Carolina Panthers last Sunday to protest Donald Trump’s controversial blast.

But they will kneel ahead of the clash against the Miami Dolphins at Wembley before standing for the anthem.

Quarterback Brees believes the compromise is “a way to show respect to all”.

The Dallas Cowboys were booed as they kneeled with owner Jerry Jones prior to Monday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals before then standing for the anthem.

Trump has been feuding with NFL players since calling on team chiefs to fire “sons of b*****s” who protest.

Dozens of players had already chosen to follow Colin Kaepernick’s example and kneel or sit for the anthem – but after the president’s comments almost 200 joined the movement.

Brees insists standing together is the best way to unify the country, while believing Trump’s statement was “unbecoming of the office”.
