MARK Wright has revealed he will not be spending Christmas in LA with his wife Michelle Keegan – despite originally planning to.
The presenter – who has just relocated to the States for his dream job working for Extra – was hoping to celebrate the festive period in his new home but has changed his mind because he’s missing Essex too much.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Mark, 30, revealed: “Wherever I spend it Michelle will be with me anyway but I don’t know if I’ll come home or not.
“At first I was like I’m going do one Christmas away I’m going to stay in LA and go to the beach or something.
“Now I’ve been here a month or two, I think I’m already ready to go back at Christmas. I probably will go back for three or four days just to be with the family.”
Mark and his wife Michelle have previously spent Christmas with either one of their families but this year might be slightly different due to their work schedules – which has seen them living on different sides of the world most of the year.
Last year Michelle explained how it worked, saying: “The past two years we’ve been in Essex so it’s our turn to be with my family in Manchester.
“I’ve loved being in Essex with Mark’s family because they’re very similar to mine so it’s been really nice.
“But there’s no place like home. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Mark, who has just been named as the face of Cadbury’s Milk Tray, opened up to The Sun Online from Las Vegas where he is currently staying for work.
His visit there comes just days after the Las Vegas massacre, which saw 59 innocent people killed and more than 100 injured when a lone gunman opened fire.
Speaking about the tragedy, Mark told us: “It’s extremely sombre as you can imagine it’s not the Vegas we all know. The people are really sticking together there’s lots of vigils going on lots of people are here praying.
“It shows the light in some humanity the fact so many people are here sticking together, staying strong and making sure the families of the victims are taken care of.”
He added: “Obviously it’s a terrible time because what happened was horrendous.”
