Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, actors who formed a couple in the popular “Game of Thrones” series, announced they were married.
After a relationship lasting five years, the two actors announced their engagement in a laconic communique that appears in the “future marriage” column of the Times, without specifying either the time or the place where the ceremony will take place, reports EFE.
Kit Harington (photo), British, and Rose Leslie, Scottish, met at the 2012 serial shooting of the Jon Snow and Ygritte characters.
Leslie, whose character dies in the four season in Jon Snow’s arms, left the show, but Harington became one of the most important characters in all seven seasons of television production.
The two first appeared as a couple at Olivier’s award ceremony last year in London.
Also last year, the actor confessed that he fell in love with Rose while filming in Iceland due to the “magic” atmosphere created by bourgeois aurora, writes British media.
