The 25-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Dan Osbourne, revealed she lost her “buzz” while starring in EastEnders.
Jacqueline had played Lauren Branning in the BBC One soap since 2010 and the sunning star has since confessed she lost her way on the show.
Speaking on her YouTube channel Jacqueline’s World in a recent Q&A, one fan asked if she had any goals or plans she wants to achieve now she’s left EastEnders.
She replied: “Obviously at the moment I’m kind of stopped in my tracks baby wise. But I definitely feel that fire now.
“I so want to be acting, I want to do something new. I’m really, really, really ready for this new adventure of mine and I’m really excited about it and it’s kind of how I felt before I was in EastEnders.”
Speaking about losing her drive starring in the soap, she continued: “I had that buzz about acting and I kind of think I lost it a little bit not because of anything in particular but because I got lost in it. I had been in EastEnders nearly eight years and I had a baby in that time.”
Discussing her plans for the future, Jacqueline said her heart is now back into pursuing acting and she even wants to land a role where she can sing.
“Somewhere along the way I lost that passion and drive that I had for it [acting] and this has really helped me get that back,” she said.
“So after baby number two, I will definitely be resuming back into acting and maybe some singing.”
Jacqueline has currently put her future plans out of her mind as the stunner has been sunning herself on a family holiday in Dubai.
The beauty has been documenting her enviable getaway to her 1.2 million followers.
In a snap uploaded on Instagram yesterday, Jacqueline sent her fans wild as she showed off her natural beauty.
The star pouted in the selfie where she displayed her fresh complexion and sunkissed tan.
She captioned the gorgeous photo: “The holiday glow”.
Jacqueline also posted a photo of her three-year-old daughter Ella building a sandcastle in an adorable shot.
EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
