Michel Klooster’s astonishing image shows a devoted bride dressed in a virginal-white gown kneeling down in front of her husband in a beautiful woodland setting

The groom, who is pictured with his trousers down at his knees, is seen lovingly looking down at his wife in the thought-provoking snap.

But despite the “prudish” reaction, accomplished snapper Klooster claims his daring work merely hints at oral sex and is not pornography.

In fact, the sophisticated photographer claims he refuses to let frisky couple’s show their wedding tackle during the sessions.

He said: “I don’t want private parts visible on the picture, but everything that creates the impression is interesting.”

The Dutch artist, who says he was inspired by a similar snap on a US website, said the newlyweds in his picture were a normal happy couple.

He said: “They were anyway very cheerful people. A nice and casual wedding, at which everything did not have to be so formal.”

The open-minded camera-jockey said that couples asking for unconventional pictures is a trend over the last few years.

He says “people want to outdo each other,” adding “they want to be different than other newlyweds”.

Principled Klooster slammed any suggestion that his nuanced picture is a marketing stunt insisting he was merely giving the couple the photo they wanted.

He then passionately attacked critics of his work branding them “prudish”.

He said: “Who thinks this is offensive, still lives in the year 1996 according to my opinion.

“Of all the pictures taken, there is one that is playful, which in ten years is still fantastic to talk about.

“Give these people their joy. That is also something I wish to you. Life is already prudish enough.”
