Is Moira pregnant on Emmerdale?
Viewers were left shocked after Moira claimed to be pregnant.
The farmer – who is played by actress Natalie J. Robb in the ITV soap – screamed that she was will child when she was cornered by killer Emma in the barn, leading to a fire.
It was after Emma confessed to killing James and she looked to make Moira her next victim.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw Moira go into labour in the blazing barn following the fight with Emma.
Who is the father of Moira’s baby?
While her claim could be a desperate attempt to survive, fans of the show are convinced it means she is actually about to give birth to her nephew Pete’s baby after their romp many months ago.
“My money is on Emma killing Adam and then Pete killing Emma to save Moira after she reveals she is pregnant with his baby,” wrote one.
“Moira’s pregnant with Pete’s baby??” said another.
A third tweeted: “Hang on Moira’s pregnant?! WTAF?! Pete’s the daddy?”
But Natalie J Robb, who plays Moria, told The Sun it could be Pete’s baby or her ex Cain Dingle’s.
What has happened so far on Emmerdale?
Emma has been driven mad and has started seeing visions of her victim James and confronts Moira in the barn, demanding to know if she loved him.
Sensing Emma was in one of her more intense moods, Moira claimed she didn’t but then when Emma admitted to killing James, knew she was in danger.
The pair fought and a pitchfork struck the lights, sending a spark out that ignited a blaze in the barn where the two women are seemingly trapped.
Moira struggled in the fight and soon realised she was losing so screamed at Emma that she was pregnant.
What has Natalie J Robb who plays Moira said about the storyline?
Actress Natalie told The Sun Online: “Emma is very persistent and agitated and it’s obviously been eating her up.
“She then confesses she pushed James off the bridge but blames Moira for it. Moira is shocked and in disbelief but then also becomes quite frightened.
“Emma is really angry. As they are talking Emma gets closer and closer. Moira breaks away to escape but Emma goes for her, grabs a pitchfork and then thrusts it threateningly at Moira.
“In their tussle, she also hits a light which in turn causes a fire. The ladies don’t spot the fire as it starts small, but soon they are both aware the barn is ablaze around them. And then an oil drum explodes.
“Moira is frightened as they both could die. It’s really dangerous in the barn and Emma is a loose cannon.
“The barn is full of lots of hay and straw bales, plus oil drums, farm machinery, diesel supplies but the most frightening thing in the barn is Emma – forget the fire – it’s Emma who is the biggest threat at this point.”
