GOOD Morning Britain viewers were left outraged today as money-saving expert Martin Lewis promoted £1.50 bottles of prosecco just minutes after the show’s hosts warned mums about the dangers of drinking too much alcohol.

Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard presented a feature about problems facing women who booze too much, and less than half an hour later Martin was sharing a super-saver deal on fizz.

Fans couldn’t believe it when the show shared money-saving deals on booze less than half an hour after a debate over claims women are drinking too much alcohol.

Kate and Ben debated the dangers of mums knocking back too much booze and showed glasses and bottles embossed with slogans such as “wine-o-clock”.

They said that more women than ever are being struck down with liver disease due to their alcohol consumption and even suggested parents should refrain from boozing for their sake of their kids.

But just minutes later, Martin Lewis was on screen and one of the deal he mentioned was a special offer on Prosecco.

He promoted a Sainsbury’s offer which allows customers to buy six bottles of the Italian fizz for just £1.50 each.

Viewers were not impressed and they flocked to Twitter to call out GMB bosses over the blunder.

Other viewers moaned it was insensitive to talk about alcohol awareness before later moving on to a slot about late Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, who has died at the age of 91.

One tweeted: “#GMB warning of the dangers of drinking etc, then talking about the hardest partier going, who’s past away at 91! Work that one out…”
