GOLF is the most boring sport in the world, according to Brits.
Cricket was voted the second dullest — and hours of watching tiresome games on TV causes domestic tension, a poll revealed.
Most said they found both sports tedious due to their confusing rules and agonisingly slow pace.
Around half claimed they would rather clean their house from top to bottom than watch Rory McIlroy chip out of a bunker or see Jimmy Anderson bowling a maiden.
One in four complained they had boring games forced on them by a partner trying in vain to get them interested.
Four in ten have also tried to ban drab sports on TV in the house.
Gregory Tatton-Brown, of online casino Casumo. com, which ran the poll of 2,000 people, said: “The average Brit watches almost four-and-a-half hours of sport a week on TV.
“If you find the sport they like to watch teeth-grindingly dull, that can feel like a lifetime.”
Eight in ten Brits say they don’t have a clue what the rules are for cricket, with two thirds saying the same about snooker.
Fishing, horse racing and Formula One are also in the list of dullest sports.
