LAMAR Odom’s friends are concerned he’s partying too much following his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy news.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star, 34, and Lamar, 39, were married for four years before splitting – but never managed to have a child together, despite Khloe undergoing fertility treatments.
Now Khloe is pregnant with her first child with new man Tristan Thompson and Lamar’s friends are worried about the way he is dealing with it.
A source told The Sun Online: “Everyone’s concerned that Lamar is partying way too much.
“He was club hopping the other week, and he’s been really down since finding out about Khloe’s pregnancy. He’d always say things like, ‘Khloe is still my wife’, even after the divorce, but now, this is proof she’s moved on and isn’t coming back.
“Everyone’s worried this could send him off on another bender.”
Khloe and retired basketball player Lamar married in 2009 just weeks after meeting, however after confessions of cheating and drug abuse they separated in 2013, with their divorce being finalised in October 2016, after years of Khloe continually trying to help him.
His problems came to a dramatic climax in October 2015 when he slipped into a seven-day coma following drug-fuelled partying with prostitutes.
He has since made a “miraculous recovery” and has started drinking and partying again.
The NBA star has however offered congratulations to Khloe telling Complex’s Everyday Struggle: “I wish her well.”
He added: “Still got love for her.”
Earlier this year Khloe shocked fans when she revealed that she had ‘faked’ trying to get pregnant with Lamar because she felt the circumstances of her marriage “weren’t the healthiest” to raise a child.
She said: “Yes, I fake tried. I was married, but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest. So, I just kept pretending I was doing it.
“When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar. I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage.
“I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like, even when it made me look like I was the problem. But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of other deeper s**t to deal with.”
