EASTENDERS fans were in hysterics tonight as they spotted Sharon Mitchell’s epic phone blunder.
Sharon was getting rightly annoyed as she was plagued by consistent prank calls early in the morning.
Clad in her dressing gown, a disgruntled Sharon went up and down the stairs to answer the phone.
She later came back downstairs only for the phone to stop ringing just as she was about to pick it up.
Just as she got upstairs the phone went again but she managed to get back down to it and ended up blowing into the receiver.
Michelle and Louise were at the top of the stairs and Sharon told them that whoever was ringing had hung up before confessing she thinks it was her stalker Tom.
However, viewers were baffled at why she didn’t just take the cordless phone upstairs with it.
One wrote on Twitter: “Does Sharon not realise the phone’s cordless?! ?? #eastenders”.
Another said: “#Eastenders Do you think Sharon know that the landline phone is a mobile and she could take it upstairs with her?!!”
A third added: “I don’t think Sharon understands the concept of a cordless phone… ? #Eastenders”.
Sharon’s home phone is cordless. She could have taken it up with her instead of constantly going downstairs lmao #Eastenders

Meanwhile, Carmel was feeling guilty for reporting Stacey to the social services as she struggled to cope without her kids.
Kush figured out it was his mum who made the complaint but will he tell Stacey and can she get her children back?
