Kim Cetinay was the first Dancing On Ice contestant to take to the rink tonight, dressed as a cowboy as he zoomed around to Kesha’s hit Timber.
And midway trough his performance, which went down a storm with the judges, his partner Alex Murphy took a back seat as Kem took centre stage.
And just in case viewers weren’t aware, ITV wrote “Solo Skate” at the bottom of the screen.
“I’m so glad #DancingonIce have put Solo Skate on the screen. I couldn’t have known that otherwise,” chuckled one audience member.
That was followed by: “Why do they feel the need to label that this is the solo skate? I can pretty clearly see he’s on his own.”
“Thanks for the Solo Skate caption @ITV I would never have guessed @dancingonice #DancingOnIce,” mocked a third.
One more asked: “Why did they feel the need to put up ‘solo skate’ when Kem was clearly on his own??”
Another spectator teased: “I like that they’re telling us at the bottom of the screen that this is the solo skate. I guessed when he was skating solo.”
Also in tonight’s eventful show, Holly was shocked by a an unusual request from Jason Gardiner.
“Don’t mess it up,” he snapped to the conetstants, before repeating again. “Don’t mess it up!”
Holly, 37, look taken aback by his harsh words and exclaimed: “Oh gosh!”
What’s more, Brooke Vincent burst into tears as she was awarded her highest score of the competition.
The Coronation Street star was stunned as she received high praise from Jason, Ashley Banjo, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill.
Her hit routine comes after Brooke spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk this week about her harsh criticism from Jason.
Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
