The Coronation Street bad boy has been murdering Weatherfield residents left, right and centre but it seems his time is up.
Pat’s (played by Connor McIntyre) evening was ruined when he was paid a visit from his tough boss.
The last time she was on screen, she demanded he emptied a nearby lake in order to build even more properties.
But Pat wasn’t keen on that having dumped the bodies of Andy Carver (Oliver Farnworth) and Vinny Ashford (Ian Kelsey) there previously.
Tonight, his boss dropped the shock bombshell that she had already started having the body of water drained – and his face was an absolute picture.
The instalment ended with Pat looking extremely panicked as he fears he may be rumbled once the bodies are discovered.
And viewers were overjoyed to see the resident villain in a very precarious position.
They flocked to Twitter to discuss the end scene with one posting: “Pat Phelan. Your time is up.”
Another added: “Omg the lake is being drained as we speak . Only a matter of time Phelan. Get scared pal, very scared.”
A third laughed: “Uh oh! They’ve started to drain the lake, I’ve got a bad Phelan about this!”
A fourth posted: “Ooh ! Phelan’s face there!! They’re draining the swamp!!”
Elsewhere on the soap, Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) made a shock return to Coronation Street.
The surprise comeback happened just as husband Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) began growing closer to Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell).
In the coming weeks, Gemma and Tyrone will share a secret kiss.
But will it all end in heartbreak for Fiz?
Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm.
