Taking immediately to social media after the victory, the 23-year-old uploaded a picture of himself dressed as the caped crusader.

Donned as Batman, he captioned the post: “When the game needs a 94th minute winner call me #Batsman.”

Batshuayi is no stranger to scoring at the death, after his late goal against West Brom at the Hawthorns won Chelsea the Premier League last season.

Antonio Rudiger joined in with the fun, as he tweeted: “Let’s call him #Batsman. Huge away win for us.”

After going 1-0 down to an Antoine Griezmann penalty, Antonio Conte’s side rallied in the second half.

Alvaro Morata carried on his purple patch in front of goal with his seventh of the season, before the Belgian man sent the away fans into delirium.
