The couple wed in Melbourne on New Year’s Eve, at Carousel Cafe in the bayside suburb of Albert Park. Bec wore a J’Aton couture gown for the ceremony and changed into a second dress for the reception.

The event was styled by premier event designers, The Style Co. On their website, they describe the wedding as effortlessly chic.

“To make things interesting, we created a few extra surprises through the night including, three deck changes, the final one being an elegant outdoor lounge with lush white flowers and lit with over 100 candles … their guests were spoiled with best seats in the house to view Melbourne’s NYE fireworks,” The Style Co reveals.

“After dinner, the foyer opened up to reveal a 360 mirrored bar which really got the party started!

“A five tier floral chandelier made from fluffy white hydrangea, peonies, and flickering candles. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

“We’re big on details so there were a lot them! From the custom invitation delivered in a box decorated with 2 gardenia flowers and scented in passionfruit (yes … scented) to custom signature cocktails and the little surprises through the night for their guests.”

Bec made the surprising admission on her KIIS FM radio show, The 3pm Pick Up, which she co-hosts on Mondays with Monty Dimond.

Bec has previously said she wants to renew her wedding vows as she feels she missed out on the fun of her wedding day; she was 10 weeks pregnant at the time.

“I reckon for my 10 year wedding anniversary I reckon we do it all again. Do the whole lot … I want to have fun and drink at my wedding and be hungover and not remember it,” Bec said in August.

During a discussion about Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Fitzsimons’ wedding vow renewal, Bec said that Chris wasn’t keen on the idea, telling Monty that he feels it would be too expensive and that the couple are still paying off the first wedding. “Which we kind of are, long before Instagram, still paying that one off” Bec quipped to Monty.

Bec says she thinks that’s a hidden agenda, and that he doesn’t want to do it because he’s embarrassed to say he loves her.
